Three Years Later
Almost three years ago, I wrote an update about how we were finally coming back from an extended pandemic-era absence. I wasn't expecting us to deal with multiple health crises, vehicle accidents, and other circumstances that would keep us away from playing live.
So, here I am with another update, and concrete information! Even though we've been away from the public eye, not playing shows and letting our social media presence go dark, we have been active. It's been a struggle to consistently arrange practices, but we kept coming back to it and making slow, slow progress on a new batch of songs.
We're finalizing a couple of songs and figuring out how to go about recording the whole batch for LP2, whether that's at our very own Cosmodrome studio in the basement, or at another location, we hope to make that happen this year.
And in more concrete news, there's a real Bobcat show coming up. June 20th at one of our favorite spots, Lucky Liquor, with Tyler's new band Bribed and our past show-mates and friends Three Fingers.
